Dallas lifestyle boutique Saint Bernard to debut in Texas city’s red light district

A Dallas transplant will soon be welcomed into one of San Antonio’s major shopping districts: Saint Bernardthe popular ski-inspired lifestyle brand, will open in The Shops at Lincoln Heights on Thursday, September 8.

This will be the store’s fourth full location, following the Dallas-Lovers Lane/Inwood Village flagship store, a still-new store in Southlake, and a store in Houston. A store in Austin recently closed permanently. (There is also an outlet in Dallas stores at Park Lane.)

Since its founding in 1978, Saint Bernard says, it has maintained the integrity of its ski shop beginnings while embracing the most current and contemporary trends with high polish. Stores offer a wide range of clothing and products for men, women and children, and shoppers can also find high-end clothing on the shelves or browse gifts, pet items and everyday decorations. .

There will be high quality ski equipment, selected sports accessories, clothing and various lounges throughout the space. Brands featured will include Peter Millar, ON, LoveShack Fancy, Citizens of Humanity, and more.

Saint Bernard was founded in 1978 as St. Bernard Sports, a full-service ski shop as good as those found at the best ski resorts in the world. After years of moves and expansions, their son Charlie Goyer joined the family legacy and grew the brand into a successful e-commerce platform and renewed retail space. In 2016, they renamed the namesake simply Saint Bernard and expanded their offering with more lifestyle and contemporary brands for men and women.

Charlie received his liberal arts at the University of Texas at Austin, then went on to graduate school in Aspen. He initially took charge of the Saint Bernard e-commerce site, growing the company’s new division to 25% of business in the early years of development. He spearheads the growth of the business – from new storefronts and brand partners to corporate culture.
