About the 2022 CUET UG Merit List

The CUET UG 2022 merit list will be prepared by participating universities/organizations after finalizing their individual board based on the scorecard of CUET (UG) – 2022.

CUET UG 2022 Marking Scheme

In accordance with the CUET UG 2022 scoring system, applicants will be awarded 5 points for each correct answer. However, one point will be deducted for each incorrect answer and no points will be deducted for questions not attempted. As part of the CUET UG normalization method, each candidate’s percentile is calculated using their raw scores compared to the raw scores of others during the same session.

Applicants who have qualified for CUET UG 2022 can gain admissions into Central Universities. Delhi University and BR Ambedkar University have already started the application process for their undergraduate courses.

Common university entrance test

The first edition of CUET-UG, a gateway for undergraduate admissions, began in July and ended on August 30. According to the original plan, all phases of CUET-UG were to end on August 20.

However, the exam was rescheduled and divided into six phases to accommodate students whose exam was postponed due to several issues that marred the test.

With 14.9 lakh enrolments, CUET is now the second largest entrance exam in the country, surpassing JEE-Main’s average enrollment by nine lakh. NEET-UG is the largest entrance test in India with an average of 18 lakh registrations.
